  • Full-Time

About UHP

UHP (Unlock Human Potential) is a fast-growing, veteran-focused certification and leadership development organization on an 800-acre campus with state-of-the-art facilities in Northwest Arkansas. We train service members, veterans, and civilians through immersive 19-day programs that produce certified fitness, health, and nutrition coaches. Our mission is simple: give veterans a new mission, a new community, and a pathway to a better life after service.

UHP is scaling rapidly. Admissions volume is expanding month over month, and we are building the team to support 100+ students per month by mid-2026 and 150–200 students per month by the end of 2026.

Position Overview

The Admissions Advisor is the core driver of UHP’s enrollment outcomes.

Your mission is to have structured, high-quality admissions interviews that help veterans and transitioning service members make confident decisions about their next mission in life. Advisors turn interest into commitment, guide candidates through the application process, and collaborate with the Enrollment Coordinator (SCO) to ensure students move smoothly toward Day 1 arrival.

This is a high-touch, high-accountability role requiring strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and respect for the veteran’s experience.

Core Responsibilities

1. Admissions Interviews (Primary Function)

  • Conduct scheduled phone and video admissions interviews with leads booked by Setters or direct inbound.
  • Follow structured interview guides and uphold UHP’s standards of clarity, professionalism, and mission alignment.
  • Identify fit, answer questions, provide transparent expectations, and support veterans through decision-making.
  • Never pressure, mislead, or create false scarcity — uphold integrity at all times.

2. Application Conversion & Guidance

  • Convert qualified, interested prospects into applicants by clearly outlining program requirements and next steps.
  • Ensure applications are complete, accurate, and submitted promptly.
  • Manage post-interview follow-up through approved channels (email + phone only; no selling via SMS).
  • Reinforce timelines, expectations, and the value of UHP programs with clarity and professionalism.

3. Collaboration With Enrollment Coordinator (SCO)

  • Hand off applicants into the Enrollment Pipeline cleanly and accurately.
  • Partner with the Enrollment Coordinator to monitor student progress through funding and travel.
  • Maintain shared accountability for movement through the Enrollment Pipeline (SCO Review → Funding Complete → Travel Confirmed → On-Site).
  • Provide updates and remove obstacles that affect a student’s progress toward Day 1 arrival.

4. Candidate Relationship Management

  • Maintain consistent contact and rapport with prospects from interview through arrival.
  • Keep detailed notes, call outcomes, and next steps updated inside HubSpot.
  • Ensure every veteran feels respected, supported, and connected to UHP’s mission.
  • Uphold high communication responsiveness — no dropped prospects, no ghosting.

5. HubSpot Discipline & Data Quality

  • Maintain clean pipeline records, accurate deal properties, and correct stages at all times.
  • Follow all workflows, automation rules, and data hygiene standards.
  • Never duplicate records, mislabel outcomes, or create reporting noise.

What You Bring

  • 2–4+ years of experience in admissions, advising, recruiting, sales, coaching, or veteran services
  • Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to guide complex decisions with calm professionalism
  • Familiarity with military culture and veteran transition challenges
  • Organized, disciplined, detail-oriented
  • Comfortable with evenings/weekends when required
  • CRM experience (HubSpot preferred)
  • Bonus: Military background, military spouse, UHP graduate, coaching or counseling experience

3. High-Touch Student Support & Preparation

  • Conduct 1:1 calls with students to walk them through steps, documents, VA processes, and pre-arrival expectations.

  • Ensure all students feel supported, cared for, and part of something bigger from the moment they’re accepted.
  • Provide ongoing cadence-based nurture leading to arrival.

    • Travel details
    • Unique needs
  • Confirm waivers, packing list compliance, travel itineraries, and arrival timing.
  • Coordinate with campus staff on expected headcount, special accommodations, and risks.

  • Maintain enrollment compliance documentation with zero gaps.

This position is central to creating a psychologically safe learning environment for our student cohorts, most of whom are veterans transitioning into new careers and to supporting our instructional staff across all UHP schools.

  • Participate in daily sync meetings to align on student needs and follow-up plans.
  • Coach staff on strategies for maintaining a calm, supportive learning environment.
  • Offer post-module debriefs.
  • Support cross-team cultural alignment across all UHP programming.
